NC DHHS Cites CCNC’s Pregnancy Medical Home Efforts in Release About NC's Lowest Infant Mortality Rate

CCNC’s Pregnancy Medical Home efforts were mentioned in a recent North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) press release, “Infant Mortality Rate Ties Lowest in State's History.”

Additionally, Christine Tucker, PhD, recently won the Outstanding Student Author Award, presented by the American Public Health Association’s maternal and child health section. Tucker conducted dissertation research with CCNC’s PMH program, which led to her dissertation on “Preterm birth prediction and receipt of postpartum contraception among North Carolina’s Medicaid population.”
