Lynda Stanley the President and CEO of Dosher Memorial Hospital, has been with the organization since 1986. Ms. Stanley was first hired to manage the hospital lab and with encouragement from the hospital CEO at that time, she pursued her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. This led to her serving roles as both Chief Operating Officer and the President of the Dosher Foundation prior to taking on her current role as President and CEO in 2021.
Ms. Stanley graduated from UNC Greensboro with a BS in Medical Technology, obtained her Master’s degree from Central Michigan University, and is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives. She has been a key figure in the success of the Dosher Hospital Foundation and the formation of the Brunswick Wellness Coalition and has been a driver for initiatives to introduce new technologies to Dosher, such as the use of telemedicine for stroke diagnosis and treatment as well as robotic arm assisted orthopedic surgery.
Ms. Stanley has been involved with several community organizations, including serving on the Board of Brunswick Community College for over 20 years and is a past President of the Southport Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Stanley has served on the Board of Trustees for the North Carolina Healthcare Foundation, is a Board Member of the North Carolina Healthcare Association, and serves on the American Hospital Association’s Rural Health Services Committee. Her focus, whether in the hospital or through her engagement with outside organizations, has always been to make a positive impact on the community.
Ms. Stanley became a CCNC Board of Manager in July 2025.
