What is this campaign about?
North Carolina's foster care system is in crisis, with a 20% drop in licensed homes since 2021. Vulnerable children desperately need safe havens, and Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC) is stepping up and we need your help. For over 20 years, we've been a leader in trauma-informed care, supporting foster youth with expertise beyond healthcare. With over 50 professionals dedicated to this cause, we ensure seamless healthcare transitions and critical support as they transition to adulthood.
But the crisis demands more than expertise. Drug addiction, COVID-19, and economic disruptions are compounding the problem. That's why CCNC is partnering with key organizations like Foster Family Alliance and Methodist Home for Children. Through the "Fostering Hope Fostering Care" campaign, your support empowers us to: recruit and support foster families, provide essential resources and training, and advocate for policy changes that strengthen the system.
