Appalachian Care Medical Mission

Appalachian Care Medical Mission

In June 2014, CCNC Clinical Operations (formerly known as AccessCare) and Community Health Partners took part in the Appalachian Care Medical Mission, which provided the public with free primary medical care, dentistry, optometry, and behavioral health services, as well as classes on nutrition, smoking cessation, stress reduction, and healthy/fit lifestyles. The mission reached 8,069 individuals needing care (and their 2,653 pets needing vaccinations).
