AMIA Symposium

AMIA Symposium

At the American Medical Informatics Association's (AMIA) recent Symposium, an abstract submitted by CCNC’s Charlene Wong, Deb Aldridge and Annette DuBard was accepted for an oral presentation. Using the abstract, “Understanding Local Drivers of Health Outcomes: The North Carolina Community Health Information Portal (NC-HIP),” Charlene highlighted NC-HIP’s ability to provide geographical viewing of demographic, public, and clinical indicators at the county and/or census-tract level allowing CCNC network staff, CCNC care managers as well as members of local health departments to assess health disparities, disease burden, and healthcare needs at the community level. Kudos to all!
