Lydia Newman Appointed Exec VP and Chief Administrative Officer

February 15, 2021 -- Community Care of North Carolina, Inc. (CCNC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lydia Newman, MPP, as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.

In this role, Lydia will provide leadership in government affairs and work closely with the CCNC and NCCCN Boards as the chief administrator and board liaison for the organization.

In addition, Lydia will advise CEO Dr. Tom Wroth on strategies to successfully carry out value-based contracts between the provider network and payers and work collaboratively with CCNC’s internal departments and external stakeholders to assess, define, coordinate, and implement CCNC’s payer strategy.

Ms. Newman already has extensive CCNC experience, having ably started and led the operations of CCNC’s local network Community Care of Lower Cape Fear for over twelve years, while also serving on CCNC’s statewide Board of Directors during that time.
