CCNC honored with Distinguished Service Award from NCAFP

Family physicians group touts CCNC's long record of supporting practices

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- December 2, 2016 -- Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC) has been presented with the 2016 Distinguished Service Award by the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians (NCAFP). Outgoing NCAFP President Dr. Rhett Brown presented the award to CCNC President and CEO Allen Dobson at the organization’s annual Winter Family Physicians Weekend at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina.

Dr. Brown touted CCNC for more than 20 years of support for primary care physicians and their patients and praised CCNC’s for improving quality and lowering cost through on-the-ground care management, data analytics and other tools that help primary care physicians provide better care.
